Mrs. Francien Adams Saxon
Saluda, SC: Mrs. Francien Adams Saxon, 60, of 206 206 Birath Street, Saluda Commons, passed away on Tuesday, February 20, 2018, in Self Regional Medical Center.
She was born in Edgefield County, SC, on February 7, 1958, daughter of the late James and Dorothy Weaver Adams. She graduated from Strom Thurmond High in 1980. She was a member of the Willow Spring Baptist Church where she was licensed as a minister under the leadership of the late Reverend Dr. E.L. Cain. She was last employed by Greenwood Mills as a weaver. She onced attended Mt. Sinai World Outreach Ministry where she served in the different ministries.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her brother, James Daniel Adams.
She is survived by; son, Robert Saxon, Jr. of Columbia, SC' two daughters, Dorothea Wearbon (Lewis) of Mauldin, SC and Alicia Saxon of Saluda, SC; grandchildren, Lauren Wearbon, Jaylen Harman, Isaiah Saxon, Natalie Saxon, Nathan Saxon and Arden Saxon; sisters, Diane Haggan (Earl) and Emma Adams (Rudloph) both of Jersey City, NJ, Barbara Adams of Augusta, GA and Ranee Covington of Rockingham, NC; one aunt, Sadie A. Moyd of Jersey City, NJ; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and sorrowing friends.
Celebration of her Life will be 1:30 p.m. Sunday, 2/25/18 at Willow Spring Baptist Church conducted by the Reverend Anthony Gordon with Reverend Everette Hall - assisting. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The body will be placed in the church at 12:30 p.m.
Viewing will be 10 a.m.- 7 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
