Mr. John B. Robinson, Jr, 

Saluda, SC:   Mr. John B. Robinson, Jr., 79, of 109 Bonham Avenue, the widower of Bertenia Gantt Robinson, passed away on Thursday, November 9, 2017 in the Hospice House, Greenwood, SC.

He was born in Lexington County, SC, son of the late John B. Robinson, Sr. and the late Maggie Davis Robinson.  He was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church and a retired truck driver.

He is survived by; five sons, Reverend Donald (Janette) Robinson, Grovetown, GA, Jimmy Robinson of Saluda, SC, Michael Robinson of Columbia, SC, John H. (Tori) Robinson of Greenwood, SC and Wendell Robinson of New York; daughter, Tanga Robinson of the home; sixteen grandchildren, six great grandchildren; four sisters, Magnolia Bell, Mozella Barr and Elizabeth (Clayton) Bowen all of Batesburg, SC and Julia Marrow of Washington, DC; father-in-law, Curtis Gantt; three sisters-in-law and one brother-in-law, Betty Daniels, Minnie (Malone) Herbert, and Freda A. Gantt all of Saluda, SC; two aunts; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and sorrowing friends.

Celebration of Life will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, 11/15/17 at Bethlehem Baptist Church with Reverend Donald Robinson, Eulogist and Reverend Calvin Robinson presiding. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The body will be placed in the church at Noon.

Public viewing Tuesday, 1-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
