Mrs. Maggie Elizabeth Long Watson

Saluda, SC:  Mrs. Maggie Elizabeth Long Watson, 58, of 701 Junniper Drive, departed this life on Friday, February 23, 2018, in Lexington Medical Center.

She was born in Saluda, SC, daughter of the late Andrew and Elease Brooks Long. She was educated in the public schools of Saluda County, SC. At an early age she joined the Mt. Moses CME Church where she maintained her membership until passing.  She also fellowshipped with Penn Creek Baptist Church. And a member of the Mine Creek Burial Aide Society and the Woman's Home Aide Society #126.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by son, Kentreal Watson and  siblings, Wilbert Long and Betty L. Lott.

Left to cherish and honor her memory; daughters, Tiesha Long of  Columbia, SC and Raven D. Long of Saluda, SC; seven grandchildren, five great grandchindren; brothers, Andrew Long (Debra) and Bennie Lee Long (Gloria) both of Saluda, SC; sisters, Erline Long and Susie Ann Etheredge both of Saluda, SC; special nieces, Niki Lott, Nikkita Etheredged, Sherry Etheredge, and Rokevia Rolland all of Saluda, SC; and a host  of other nieces, nephews, other relatives, extended family and friends.

Celebration of her Life will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, 2/27/2018 at Mt. Moses CME Church conducted by Reverend Ida Shipman and Reverend Everette Hall. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  The body will be placed in the church at 12 Noon.

Viewing will be Monday 1-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
