Mr. Abraham Holloway, Sr.

Saluda, SC:  Mr. Abraham Holloway, Sr. passed away on Sunday, December 15, 2019, in Saluda Nursing Center.

Born in Saluda, SC, July 24, 1936, son of the late Abraham and Annie Mae Dozier Holloway. He was a graduate of Rosenwald High School, a member of Rock Hill Baptist where he was a Trustee, a member of the Senior Choir, Male Chorus and veteran of US Army.  He lived in New for many years and retired from Estee Lauder after 40 plus years of service.  He was married to the late Margie Lucas Holloway and this union was blessed with five children, daughters, Yvonne Holloway and  Michelle Holloway preceded him in death.

He leaves to cherish his memory; son, Abraham Holloway, Jr. of Long Island, NY; daughters, Frankie Holloway and Yolanda (Warren) Harris  both of Denver, CO; three grands, Maurice, Autumn and Warren Jr.; sisters, Sallie Mae Williams, Willette (Johnny) McCloud, Adrian Holloway and Doris (MacField) Young all of Saluda, SC, Bobbie J. Holloway, Roosevelt, NY, Gracie Foggie of Greenwood, SC and Shirneata (Dennis) Todd of Simpsonville, SC; brothers, Leroy (Louise) Holloway and Codell Holloway both of Greenwood, SC;  nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of his Life will be 1 p.m. Friday, 12/20/19 at Rock Hill Baptist Church conducted by Reverend David Holloway- Eulogist, Pastor Herbert Martin, Presiding and Dr. Richard Dozier and others assisting. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The body will be placed in the church at 12 o'clock.

Viewing will be 10-7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

The family is at the home of his sister, Willette and Johnny McCloud, 220 Dozier Road, Saluda, SC.
