Mrs. Annie Mae Davis Lee

Saluda, SC:  Mrs. Anna Mae Davis Lee of 324 Gassaway Road, entered into eternal rest, Sunday, May 19, 2019 in Self Regional Medical Center.

She was born in Saluda County, SC, daughter of the late Jimmy and Carrie Bush Davis. She received her education in the public schools Corona Queens, New York

Her parents moved to New when she was very young and she met and married Albert Lee who preceded her in death and this union was blessed with four children.  She lived and worked in New York for many years. She retired in 2001, after working 15 years as a School Bus Matron for Varsity Transportation a bus company of Queens, New York. In 2008, she decided to moved back to her childhood home of Saluda and where she attended Lockhart Baptist Church, always willing to do what was asked of her.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Albert Lee; son, Albert Lee, Jr. and daughter Denise Patricia Lee (who died at an early age) and siblings, George Davis and Gloria Floyd.

Leaving to honor and cherish her memory, twin sons, Gary Lee and Barry (Serena) Lee both of New York, NY; four  grandchildren, nine great grandchildren; brother, Charlie (Annie) Davis  of Saluda, SC; sister, Christine Lewis of Saluda, SC; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Celebration of Life will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Lockhart Baptist Church conducted by the pastor, Reverend Herman Jenkins. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The body will be placed in the church at 10 a.m.

Viewing will be Friday 1-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
