Mr. Henry Coleman

Saluda, SC: Mr. Henry Coleman, 93. 0f 259 John J. Rushton Road, the widower of Willie Mae Norris Coleman passed away on Monday night, January 8, 2018, at his home, after declining health.

He was born in Saluda, SC, June 10, 1924, son of the late Mary Jane Coleman and the late Dan Triplin. He was a member of the Mt. Enon Baptist Church and the Men's Aide Society.

In addition to his parents and his wife, he was also preceded death by son, Willie Maes Etheredge; siblings, Gilbert Triplin, Richard Triplan, John Coleman, Robert Coleman, Ida Triplin, Wilma Triplin and Carrie Coleman-Farrow.

He leaves to cherish and honor his memory; daughter, Carloyn (Donell) Dean of Saluda, SC; fourteen grandchildren, Willie James Etheredge, Ethel M. Mathis, Sylvester Etheredge, Mechelle Peterson, Terry Etheredge, Cara Etheredge, Trisheena Norris, Petina Waldo, Tanisha Gibson, Andrew Long, Maurice Long, Christina McDonald, Nikkita Etheredge and Marcus Holland; 25 great grandchildren, 31 great-great grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Jerlean Etherdege of Saluda, SC; a special nephew, Willie Triplin, Jr. and a special cousin, Alfonzo Praylow; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and sorrowing friends.

Celebration of His life will be 1 p.m. Saturday, 1/13/18, at Mt. Enon Baptist Church conducted by Pastor, Reverend Donnie R. Byrd, Sr.  with Reverend Carl Chiles, presiding and Reverend Vanessa Ouzts, Reverend Annette Mathis and Minister Constance Long assisting.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The body will be placed in the church at 12 Noon.

Viewing will be Friday 1/12/18 at the funeral home from 1:30 - 8:00 P.M.
