Julia Etta Williams Bush
Johnston, SC: Julia Etta Williams Bush, 71, the wife of Henry Lee Bush, passed away on Wednesday, August 21, 2019, in Saluda Nursing Home.
She was born in Saluda, SC, March 20, 1948, daughter of the late Tommie Williams, Sr. and Etta Black Williams Attaway and the stepdaughter of the late George Attaway.
She received her education in the public schools of Saluda County, South Carolina where she graduated from Riverside High School in 1968 and she did further studies at Kenneth Shuler where she became a licensed Beautician. Before becoming a beautician she worked at Graniteville Mill for a number of years and later she opened her Beauty Salon and worked there until she retired.
At an early age, she joined the Mt. Calvary Baptist Church where she was a faithful member and sing on the Mt. Calvary Senior Choir. She was a member of the Woman's Home Aide Society.
She was married to Henry Lee Bush and this union was blessed with three sons, one son, Ronald D. Bush preceded her in death. In addition to her parents, stepfather, son, she was also preceded in death by siblings, Tommie Williams, Jr., Johnnie Williams and Milliage Williams, Sr.
Leaving to cherish and honor her memories; memory and honor her memories; husband, Henry Lee Bush of the home; two sons, Alexander Bush of the home and Eleazar Bush of San Diego, CA; two grandchildren, King Ronald Bush and Alonna Bush of San Diego, CA; three brothers, Joseph C. Williams, Ejustus (Mary Helen) Williams and George (Shirley) Attaway all of Johnston, SC; three sisters, Mattie Key of Johnston, SC, Eunice (Donald) Turner of Columbia, SC and Carrie L. Attaway of North Augusta, SC; a special nephews, Dennis W. Gartrell; six brothers-in-law, ten sisters-in-law; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and sorrowing friends.
A Celebration of her life will be 1 p.m. Monday, August 26, 2019 at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church conducted by the pastor, Reverend Lewis Burt, Eulogist, Reverend Sammie Williams - Presiding and others assisting. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The body will be placed in the church at 12 p.m.
Viewing will be Sunday, 8/25/19 2-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
The family is at the home of her sister, Mattie Key 107 Chinaberry Lane, Johnston, SC.
