MYERS - Larry Leonard Myers, Sr, 84, of Hempstead, peacefully passed away in his sleep on Sept. 19.

Graduated Aliquippa HS 1950, BA from the Univ. of Pittsburgh.

Korean US Army vet. Married Elizabeth Dean 1965. President of the Hempstead Chamber of Commerce, Chairman of the Community Jr. Golf Program.

He is survived by children: Dr. Linda Ann Myers, Dr. Larry Myers, daughter-in-law, Dr. Nancy Myers & grandchildren: Sky, Chancellor, Elle & Jurnee Myers.

Services at South Hempstead Baptist Church, 81 Maple Ave, Hempstead on Sept. 25, Wake: 4:30pm,Funeral: 6:30pm.

Funeral services will be 12 p.m. Wednesday 9/27/17 at Butler and Sons Funeral Home with burial in Mine Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
