Saluda, SC:  Mr. Leroy Foulks, Jr., 58,  361 Old Gassaway Road, passed away on Friday, December 13, 2019.

He was born in Saluda, SC, on September 18, 1961, son of Virginia Etheredge Foulks and the late Leroy Foulks, Sr.  He received his education in the public Schools of Saluda County, South Carolina.  At an early age, he joined Bethlehem Baptist Church. He worked in the Logging Industry as a heavy equipment operator, until failing health. He was a fan of the Gamecock and the New England Patriots.  His favorite color was purple.  To his family and friend he was Mr. Fix It he was good with his mind and hands to fix most anything.

To know him was to love him.

Leaving behind to mourn and celebrate his passing, his mother, Virginia E. Foulks of the home; son, Montavious Gaines; grandson, Victorious Gaines of Saluda, SC; brothers, Winfred D. Etheredge, Augusta, GA. and Michael (Casandra) Foulks, Winnsboro, SC; sisters, Laura Ann Neal, Newberry, SC, Melissa (Donald) Porter, Augusta, GA, Michelle Robinson, Aiken, SC, Robin Foulks, Saluda, SC, Shirl (Virgil) Valentine, San Antonio, TX and Tammie Long, W. Columbia, SC; Rudy Long  (like a brother) of Saluda, SC; aunts, Joyce McElveen, W. Columbia, SC, Jeanette  Etheredge, Saluda, SC and Rose Foulks, Gastonia, NC; uncles, Jack McCarthy, Freddie Hill, Archie Hill all of Saluda, SC and Sammie (Pauline) Gary, New Ellenton, SC; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and sorrowing friends who will miss him dearly.

A Celebration of his Life will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, December 18, 2019 at Bethlehem Baptist Church conducted the pastor, Reverend Calvin Robinson.  The body will be placed in the church at 12 o'clock.

Viewing will be Tuesday 1-7 p.m. at the funeral home.

The family is at the home of his mother, Virginia E. Foulks, 361 Old Gassaway Road, Saluda, SC
