Saluda, SC: Mr. Rufus Bush of 197 Holloway Road passed away on Friday, January 25, 2019 at his home.

He was born in Saluda County, SC, son of Lena Mariah Johnson Bush and the late Moses Bush.  He was a member of New Salem and a retired construction  worker.

He was preceded in death by his father, Moses Bush, his wife, Linda Marie Bush and brother, John Henry Johnson.

He is survived by; his mother, Lena Bush of Saluda, SC; son, Sherman Markee Bush of Columbia, SC; granddaughter, Kaliyah m. Bush;  brother, Thomas Johnson, Saluda, SC; sister, Ruby Mae Abney, Saluda, SC; niece and caretaker, Madelene Culbreath;  brothers-in-law, Larry (Angela) Gray, Lanies (Linda) Gray and Lawrence (Renee) Gary; sister-in-law, Laura Gray; mother-in-law, Bobbie Jean Gray; father-in-law, Lanies Gray, Sr.; special friend, LeRoy (Rosa Lee) Anderson, Jr.; and host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and sorrowing friends.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, February 2, 2019 at the New Salem CME Church conducted by Reverend Annette Mathis.

Vewing will be 1-7 pm. Friday at the funeral home.
