Mr. William T. Graham, Jr.
Johnston, SC: Mr. William T. Graham, Jr. of 135 Long Cane Road, the husband of Edna Graham passed away Tuesday, June 19, 2018, at his residence.
He was born in Edgefield County, SC, son of the late William Taft Graham, Sr. and the late Louelle Holloway Graham. He received his education in the public schools of Edgefield County, South Carolina. Early in life he joined the Lockhart Baptist Church. He married Edna Burton Graham and they moved to New York and they lived there most of their lives until moving back to South Carolina in the mid 90's. He was a man with many trades, such as a auto mechanic, Grocery Store Owner and a construction worker. Some of this hobbies were fishing and hunting. He was a member of the Men Aide Society.
He leaves to honor and cherish his memory; his devoted wife, Edna B. Graham of the home; three sons, Willie Graham, Bronx, NY, Calvin Graham and Ger'Mia Graham of the home; daughters, Marquitta Graham, Augusta, GA, Chantu Graham, Atlanta, GA, Shameeka (Erin) Hines, Saluda, SC, Connie Graham, Washington, DC, LaShonda Graham and Alexandra Williams both of Edgefield, SC, Shannon Graham and Leianna Graham both of Johnston, SC; six grandchildren; two brothers, David Graham, Washington, DC and Larry (Terri) Graham, Baltimore, MD; four sisters, Gladys Graham, Aiken, SC, Francy Graham and Verdell Ozua both of Brooklyn, NY, and Daisy Mae (George) Hurley, Shelby, NC; brother-in-law, Willie Glover; sisters-in-law, Laura Glover, Barbara Pringle and Emmie Lewis; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by daughter, Denise Graham; siblings, Johnny Graham and Phyllis Padgett.
A Celebration of his life will be 12 o'clock Tuesday Piney Grove Holiness Church with Elder Robert Peterson - Eulogist and Pastor Marshall Hopkins -presiding. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The body will be placed in the church at 11 a.m.
Public viewing will be Monday at the funeral home 2-8 p.m.
