Alvin Padgett, Jr.

Saluda, SC:  Alvin  Padgett, Jr. 75, formerly of Edgefield County, gained his Heavenly Wings early Sunday morning, March 6, 2022, at Saluda Nursing Center and Rehab.

Born in Edgefield County, SC, December 21, 1946, son of the late Alvin Padgett, Sr. and the late Willie Ella Weaver Padgett. He was a member of Willow Spring Baptist Church, a 1965 graduate of W E Parker High School and a retired employee of Graniteville Mills.

He is survived by; brother, Ulysses Padgett of Fountain Inn, SC; niece, Alicia Byrd, Fountain Inn, SC; nephews, Cordero Fields, Edgefield, SC and Johnny C. Fields of Clinton, SC;  other relatives and sorrowing friends.

Celebration of his Life will be 12 Noon Saturday, March 12, 2022 at Willow Spring Baptist Church conducted by the pastor, Reverend Anthony Gordon, Presiding and Reverend Willie Patten, Eulogist and others assisting. The body will be placed in the church at 11:00 A.M.  Viewing will be 1-6 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
