Angley Lavon Wells
Saluda, SC: Angley Lavon Wells of 115 Twisted Hill Court, transitioned from this life into eternal rest to be with the Lord, Wednesday night, December 9, 2020 at her home.
She was born in Saluda, SC, on February 25, 1964, daughter of Otis Cleveland Wells and the late Betty Ruth Butler Wells. She received her education in the public schools of Saluda County, South Carolina where she graduated from Saluda High School in 1982 and she did furthers studies online at Post University.
At an early age, she joined Crossroads AME Church where she remained a member until it closure and she then joined Wateree AME Church. She first worked in the textile industry and later began her career as a Baby-sitter where she took care of many children in her home.
She touched many lives and she will be dearly missed by her family and all who knew her and the many lives she touched.
She leaves to cherish her memory, daughters, Shemekia Wells of Greenwood, SC, Latifia Farrow-Hill and Alaijae Smith both of Saluda, SC; three grandchildren, Brooklyn Lester, Brianna Lester and Corey Hall, Jr.; two sisters, Sheila (Kenneth) Padgett of Johnston, SC and Gloria Henley of Saluda, SC: two brothers, Otis Clifford (Tonya) Wells and James (Bobo) Wells both of Saluda, SC; uncles and aunts; and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A Graveside Service to honor her life will be 1 p.m. Thursday, December 17, 2020 at Crossroads AME Church Cemetery with Minister Inger Henley-Martin, officiating.
Family viewing will be 1-1:30 p.m. and public viewing will be 1:30-7 p.m. Wednesday, 12/16/20 at the funeral home.
The family is at the home.
