Mr. Ashmore Davis

Saluda, SC: Mr. Ashmore Davis, 60, of 168 May Branch Road, passed away on Sunday morning, April 8, 2018 at his home.

He was born in Saluda, SC, November 25, 1957, son of the late Eddie and Annie Lee Davis. He was a member of the Antioch Baptist Church.

He received his education in the public schools of Saluda County, South Carolina and a retired construction worker.

He is suvived by; sisters, Ella Ruth Erving, Carrie (James) Kinard, Georgia Carroll, Mae Emma Gilliam (Norman), Shirley (Andrew) Brown, and Arleen Davis all of Saluda, SC and Rosetta Graham of Edgefield, SC; aunt, Dorothy Kinard (Homer); uncles, Mose (Maggie) Davis and Henry Davis (Jessie); great aunt, Rebecca Henley; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and sorrowing friends.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by siblings, Bennie Lee Davis, Johnny Lee Davis and Susie Mae Davis.

Celebration of his life will be 3 p.m. Friday, 4/13/18 at Antioch Baptist Church conducted by Reverend R. C. Olgesby assisting will be Reverend Camillia Simpkins. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The body will be placed in the church at 2 p.m. the day of service.

Viewing will be Thursday 4/12/18 1-7 p.m.
