Cal William Langford

Batesburg, SC;  Cal William Langford of 533 Lawrence Circle,, departed this life on Tuesday, October 25, 2022 in Heartland of Columbia Rehab and Nursing Center.

He was born in Lexington County, SC, son of the late Nick and Hattie Mae Draft Langford. He was of Baptist Faith. Cal received his education in the public schools of Lexington County where he graduated from Twin City High School. He worked at many jobs driving trucks. He loved trucks and cars and he worked on them all doing mechanic work and he also raced cars. 

In addition to his parents; he was also preceded in death by a son, Frankie J. Summers; brothers, Earnest Langford, Willie Draft and Clinton Draft.

He is survived by; daughters, Mitize Abner (James Walker) of Aiken, SC, Stephanie (Steve) Harley of Graniteville, SC, Tamica West, Lexington, SC, Siniti Zimmerman, Saluda, SC, Contrena Zimmerman of Eutawville, SC; sons, Calron Langford and Joshua Langford both of Columbia, SC, Reginald (Val) Long, Batesburg, SC and Kelvin Gibson of Ridgeland, SC; 40 grandchildren, thirty great grandchildren; two sisters, Lula (Pat) Glover, Leesville, SC and Eloise Gary of Lexington, SC; brothers, Robert Draft of Leesville, SC and Charles Langford of Long Beach, CA; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and sorrowing friends.

The family is at the home of his daughter, Mitize Abner, 1282 Crossland Drive, Aiken, SC.

Celebration of Life will be 1 P.M. Monday, October 31, 2022 at the funeral home. Visitation will be Sunday 4-6 p.m. at the funeral home.
