Cassandra Rena Pugh

Saluda, SC:  Cassandra Rena Pugh, of 201 Willow Loop transitioned from this life into eternal rest on Wednesday, July 30, 2025 at Self Regional Healthcare. 

She was born in Greenwood, SC, August 7, 1970, daughter of the late Leon Sr. and Lizzie Ruth Etheredge Pugh. She was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.  Cassandra received her education in the public schools of Saluda County, SC, where she graduated from Saluda High in 1988.  She was certified Nursing Assistant. She was employed by the Saluda Nursing Center for many years.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded death by daughter, MeCosha Pugh and brother, Leon Pugh, Jr.

She is survived by; son Jaden T, Pugh and daughter, Courtney Pugh both of the home. two sisters, Angela Pugh and Regina Pugh both of Saluda, SC; three nieces; sister-in-law, Lilyette C. Pugh of Greenwood, SC; uncles and aunts; and a host of relatives and sorrowing friends.
