Charles Patterson, III

Batesburg, SC:  Charles Patterson, III of 451 Lester Drive, the husband of Nancy G. Patterson transitioned from this life into eternal life on Wednesday night, October 6, 2021 at his home surrounded by his family.

He was born in Queens, New York, on August 31, 1960, son of the late Charles Patterson, Jr. and the late Mary Alice Cheatham Patterson. He was of Baptist Faith.

He received his GED in the United States Army where he served his country. He did further studies at Aiken Technical College. He worked as a clerk at the VA Hospital until he became disabled He was also a DJ for the surrounding areas. He was a member of the Carolina Soldier's Motorcycle Club during its existence.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his only brother, Andre Patterson.

Those left to cherish his memory and mourn his passing; his devoted wife, Nancy Gilree Patterson of the home; sons, Quayshaun Patterson of Greenwood, SC and Shaquille Turner of Columbia, SC; daughters, Charlene (Joseph) Malin of Charlotte, NC, Tyneshia Collins of Aiken, SC, Nia Patterson of Columbia, SC and Zion Corley of North Augusta,. SC; nine grandchildren; mother-in-law, Louise Singleton, Columbia, SC; sister-in-law, Jean (HS) Tate; brother-in-law, Willie (Brittany) Jeffcoat; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of His Life will be 12 Noon, Wednesday, October  13, 2021 at Ft. Jackson National Cemetery, 4170 Percival Road, Columbia, SC.

A Viewing will be 1-6 p.m. on Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at the funeral home.

The Family is at the home.
