Saluda, SC:  Mr. Christopher Jones, 44, passed away on Monday, January 22, 2018, in Self Regional Healthcare, Greenwood, SC.

He was born in Saluda County, SC, January 28, 1973, the only child born to Henry (Pete) Jones and Rosa Mae Brooks Jones. He received his education in the Public schools of Bronx, New York and Saluda, South Carolina.  He was a diehard New York Giants fan.

He accepted Christ in his life and joined Long Branch Baptist Church, Greenville, SC.

Leaving to cherish and honor his memory; his parents, Henry and Rosa Mae Jones of Saluda, SC; special friend, Christine Talley of Greenville, SC; aunts, Frances Robinson, Rosa Mae Jones, Lannie Mae (John Albert) Nicholson, and Lannie Mae Lindsey all of Saluda, SC, Deloris Brooks, Maryland, Johnnie Mae Williams, Bronx, NY, Retha (Ben Lewis) Jones of Ohio; uncles, James Brooks of Bronx, NY and John L. Jones of Johnston, SC. and a host of other relatives and sorrowing friends.

Homegoing Celebration will be 2 p.m. Saturday, 1/27/18 at Lockhart Baptist Church with Reverend Herman Jenkins, presiding, Reverend Annette Mathis, Eulogist and others assisting. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  The body will be placed in the church at 1 p.m.

The family is at the home of his parents,127 Keisha Avenue, Saluda, SC.
