Clementine Bouknight Mobley
Saluda, SC: Clementine Bouknight Mobley, of 365 Trinity Road, the wife of Joe Mobley entered into the Gates of Heaven on Thursday, July 29, 2021 at Self Regional HealthCare.
She was born in Saluda, SC, on April 15, 1950, a daughter of the late Butler and Emma Lee Coleman Bouknight. She received her education in the public schools of Saluda County, South Carolina where she graduated from Riverside High School.
At an early age, she joined Bethlehem Baptist Church. Later she married to Joe Allen Mobley and attended Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. At the present time she was a member of Progressive Church Of Our Lord Jesus Christ, Saluda. She was a member of the National Women Auxiliary, Choir member, president of the Local Assembly and a member of a Local Food Club. She was employed by Saluda Nursing Center for thirty-four plus years where she was a CNA and later she became the Environmental Supervisor until her retirement.
She was married to Joe Allen Mobley and to this union six children were born.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by, a twin son, Malvin Mobley and sister, Sarah L. Bouknight.
To know Clementine was to love her. She will be sorely missed by her family and all who knew and loved her.
Those who will cherish and love on her memories; her husband, Joe A. Mobley of the home; sons, Kendral (Kathy) Mobley of Walterboro, SC, Bennie Mobley of Johnston, SC, Chris Mobley of Ninety-six, SC and Marvin (Nikki) Mobley of Spartanburg, SC; daughters, Carsandry (Phillip) Bell of West Columbia, SC two (others like a daughter), Londa Scurry of Columbia, SC and Kizzy Gilliam of Johnston, SC; twenty grandchildren, four great grands; two brothers, Butler Bouknight, Jr. and Gregory Bouknight both of Saluda, SC; two sisters, Sallie Lou (Gordon) Mobley and Janice Nicholson both of Saluda, SC; three sisters-in-law; nieces, nephews, other relatives and sorrowing friends.
The family is at the home on 365 Trinity Road, Saluda, SC.
