Mr. David Smith
Edgefield, SC: Mr. David Smith, 68, formerly of Saluda, SC, the husband of Carolyn Culbreath Smith, passed away on Thursday night, August 20, 2020 in Manna Rehab and Healthcare Center, Pickens, SC.
He was born in Saluda County, SC, a son of the Alberta Smith Kinard and the late Johnny Richardson. At an early age he joined Lockhart Baptist Church. and he received his education in the public schools of Saluda County, South Carolina. He worked in the Logging Industry until his health failed.
He is survived by: his wife, Carolyn C. Smith of Greenwood, SC; son, Julius Smith of Cross Hill, SC; eight grandchildren, four great grandchildren; brother, Albert (Lambert) Kinard of Saluda, SC: three sisters-in-law, one brother-in-law; nieces and nephews; numerous cousins and other relatives and friends.
Committal Services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday August 29, 2020 at Lockhart Baptist Church Cemetery conducted by Elder Sylvester (Julia) Smith.
