Elliott Van Chandler, III

Spartanburg, SC:  Elliott Van (EJ)Chandler, III, 33, formerly of Saluda, SC, passed away Tuesday, September 22, 2020 in Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.

He was born March 5, 1987 in Greenwood, SC, son of Elliott Van Chandler, Jr. and the late Martha Ann Brown Chandler. He was of Baptist Faith and he received his education at Charles Lee Center, Spartanburg, SC.

In addition to his mother, he was also preceded in death by a brother, Willie Andrew Chandler.

"EJ" as he was affectionately called by his family and friends will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He leaves to cherish and honor his memory; his father, Elliott Van Chandler, Jr. of Johnston, SC; sisters, Antoniette Brown and Allison Jones both of Saluda, SC, Emma Chandler of Newberry, SC and Ashia Williams of Greenwood, SC; brothers, Antoine Brown of Saluda, SC and Willie W. (Arnephia) Chandler of Ninety Six, SC; maternal grandfather, Andrew Minick of New Jersey; uncles and aunts; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Graveside Services will be 11 a.m. 9/26/20 at Penn Creek Baptist Church Cemetery conducted by Reverend Lee H. Ouzts.

Viewing will be 1-7 p.m.  Friday, 9/25/20 at the funeral home.

The family is at the home of his sister, 108 Dry Dock Circle, Saluda, SC.
