Frances Lee Anderson

McCormick, SC:  Frances Lee Kimble Anderson, 89, of 3 Sandrock Way, the widow of Julian Anderson, Sr., passed away on Friday, February 3, 2023 at her home.

She was born in Edgefield, SC, July 15, 1933, daughter of the late John Wesley and Lula Mae Harrison Kimble. She received her education in the public schools of Edgefield County, South Carolina.. She was a member of Liberty Spring Baptist Church and a retired textile worker. 

She was married to Julian Anderson, Sr. who preceded her in death. To his union seven children were born one daughter, Mae Emma Anderson who preceded her in death. And siblings, Rosa Mae Jones, Willie F. Kimble, J. C. Kimble and G W Kimble also preceded her in death.

She leaves to honor and cherish her memory; daughters, Lula Collen Anderson of the home, Mary Norris, Alberta (Josh) Clark, Pearlie (Nelson) Jones all of Edgefield, SC; sons, Julian (Shirley) Anderson, Jr. of McCormick, SC and Calvin Anderson (Rhonda) of Piedmont, SC; 15 graandchildren, 22 great grands; sisters, Elease Parks, McCormick, SC, Pearline Anderson and Eugenia Young both of Greenwood, SC; brothers, William Kimble and Heyward (Pat) Kimble both of Greenwood, SC; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and sorrowing friends.

Celebration of Life will be 11:00 a.m.  Thursday, February 9, 2023 at Liberty Spring Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. The body will be placed in the church at 10 a.m.

Family viewing will be 1-2 p.m. Wednesday and public viewing will be 2-6 p.m. at the funeral home.

The family is at the home.
