Frank Lane Bucket

Elgin, SC:  Frank Lane Bucket, 66, peacefully departed this life Thursday, April 17, 2025 at the home of his daughter, after declining health.

He was born in Saluda, SC, on January 11, 1959, son of the late Collie and Edie Mae Butler Bucket. He received his education in the public school of Saluda County, South Carolina and he graduated from Saluda High School in 1978. He furthered his education at Piedmont Technical College. During his time in school he played football for the Saluda Tigers. He was a diehard San Francisco Forty-Niners football fan.

At an early age, he joined Mt. Enon Baptist Church where he maintained his membership until his passing.

Frank was married to Carolyn Landy Bucket and this union was blessed with two daughters.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his siblings, Martha Bucket, Freddie Bucket and Terry Bucket.

Frank leaves to cherish and honor his memory; his wife, Carolyn L. Bucket, Wagner, SC; two daughters, Shareka (Antonia) Stallngs of Augusta, GA and Sabrina Bucket (Caretaker) of Elgin, SC; four grandchildren, Malachi, Makayla, Maliyah and Sybriya; two brothers, Collie Bucket, Jr. of Saluda, SC and Anthony Bucket of Kershaw; sisters Betty (Alfonso) Praylow, Saluda, SC, Susan (James) Pace, Newberry, SC and Judy Bucket of Ninety-Six, SC; a special sister, Phyllis (Greg) Etheredge, Saluda, SC; one aunt, Nellie Christie, Saluda, SC; a special son, Toussaint Holloway of Elgin, SC;  two sisters-in-law, one brother-n-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The family is at the home of his daughter, Sabrina Bucket. Friends may visit the home beginning Monday after 3 p.m.
