Freddie Maxfield, Jr.
Orangeburg, SC: Freddie Maxfield, Jr. 68, formerly of Saluda, SC, departed this life on Tuesday, August 15, 2023 from an accident in Cordova, SC.
He was born in Saluda, SC, on October 8, 1954, son of the late Willie James and Charlotte Pope Maxfield. He received his education in the public schools of Saluda, SC. He was of Baptist Faith. During his working life he drove trucks and was a mechanic.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by, daughter, Marsha Nelson; siblings, Terry Maxfield, Larry Maxfield and Willette Nicholson.
He is survived by his wife, Annie H. Maxfield, Saluda, SC; son, Calvin Nicholson, Saluda, SC; brothers, Charles Maxfield, N. Augusta, SC, Willie Lee Maxfield, Ward, SC, Calvin Maxfield, Saluda, SC and Bennie Maxfield, Johnston, SC; sisters, Kathleen Rhodes (Walter), Ward, SC, Sarah Pace (Frank), Saluda, Katherine Lott ad Gloria Maxfield both of Lexington, SC; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and sorrowing friends.
A Memorial Service will be held 11:00 a.m. Sunday, August 27, 2023 at New Life Apostolic Church, Elder Lee H. Ouzts will be officiating.
