Fredna "Missy" Butler

Greenwood, SC: Fredna "Missy" Butler died on Thursday, October 13, 2022 in Prisma Health of Laurens, SC.

She was born in Saluda, SC, August 4, 1965, daughter of Mary Lee Foster Butler and the late Fred Butler. She was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church and a 1983 graduate of Saluda High School. She once worked at Louis Rich (Kraft) later gained employment for many years at Coviden until her health failed. She was a member of WHAS #126. Her favorite football team was the Pittsburgh Steelers and her favorite color was green.  Missy was one who loved to shop and cook. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

She leaves to cherish and honor her memory; her mother, Mary Lee Butler of Saluida, SC; daughter, DeShondra Tinch of Greenville, SC; brother, Byron Butler of Saluda, SC; sister, Sheila Butler Anderson of Saluda, SC; God-children, Deandra Moss and Zaiden Patterson; aunts, Elaine Downing(David) of Saluda, SC, Lillie R. Walker, Los Angeles, CA and Jacqueline Berkel, New Orleans and Reverend Mildred Walker of Saluda, SC;  nephew, Brian Anderson and niece, Ashley Anderson both of San Diego, CA; host of other close relatives and sorrowing friends who will miss her dearly.

A Celebration of Life will be 1:00 P.M. Thursday, October 20, 2022 at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church conducted by Reverend Eddie Freeman, assisting will be the pastor, Reverend Richard Jackson. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  The body will be placed in the church at 12 p.m.   Family viewing will be Wednesday, October 19, 2022 Time: 1-2 p.m. and public viewing will be 2-6 p.m. at the funeral home.

The family is at the home of her mother, Mary Lee Butler, 362 Logan St., Saluda, SC 29138.
