He was born in Greenwood, SC, son of Jerome Culbreath and the late Shirley Barnes Culbreath.
He received his education in the public school of Saluda County, South Carolina. He was of Baptist Faith. He was Entrepreneur which he was good at.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley Barnes Culbreath and brothers, Antiono Barnes and Chaconia (Nick) Culbreath, Sr.
Those left to cherish and honor his memory; his father, Jerome Culbreath (Roberta Matthews) of Batesburg, SC; sons, Jabacus K. Culbreath, Jr. of Batesburg, SC and Jayce Alan Holmes of Saluda, SC; special friend, Christy Wise Holmes of Saluda, SC; five step-children, Tyeyana Beale, Columbia, SC, Shade Stevens, Saluda, SC, Brittany Stevens, Greenville, SC, Damaree Tartt and Dontauis Tartt , West Virginia; brothers, Kentdrick B. Barnes Batesburg, SC, Lewis (Joyce) Barnes and Barry Abney both of Saluda, SC; sisters, Yoshema Culbreath and Jasmine Culbreath both of Batesburg, SC; three aunts, Deborah Culbreath, Betty Ann Etheredge and Aretha Myers; uncles, Heyward (Susie) Culbreath, Calvin Culbreath, Tim (Rena) Culbreath, Benjamin Barnes, Melvin (Jean) Barnes, Roy (Marilyn Barnes, Thomas Pace and Maurice Culbreath; God-daughter, Mariah Johnson, Batesburg, SC; God-sister, Tysheena Harrison of Edgefield, SC; a number of great aunts and uncles; twenty one nieces & Nephews; and a host of other relatives and sorrowing friends.
A Celebration of His Life will be 2 p.m. Saturday, May 7, 2022 at Little Angel's Memorial Park conducted by Reverend Annette Mathis with others assisting.
Viewing will be Friday, May 6, 2022, 1-6 p.m. at the funeral home.
The family is at the home of his sister, YoShema Culbreath, 718 Humphrey St., Batesburg, SC.
