Jaliyah Teyanna Butler, 19, gained her wings on Saturday, October 4, 2025 in Orangeburg, SC.

She was born in Lexington, SC, February 1, 2006 to Heather S. Weaver and Richard Butler. She was a 2024 graduate of Greenwood High School and student at Piedmont Technical College where she was enrolled in the Funeral Service Program.  She was of Baptist Faith.

Jaliyah was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Warren Butler, Sr. and God-grandfather, Paul Williams.

She is survived by; her parents Heather Weaver of Greenwood, SC and father, Richard Butler of Saluda, SC; brothers, Franklin Roberts, Sabryn King, Jodariyon Carter and Jy'Sier Carter all of Greenwood, SC, Kingston Gilchrist of Johnston, SC, Jaelyn Long, Kayson Long and Ziyon Zimmerman all of Saluda, SC; sisters, Cassidy Jones and Alaysia King of Greenwood, SC, Ayanna Butler and Paris Pickens both of West Columbia, SC, Modesty Butler of Edgefield, SC and A’Niya Mason, Orangeburg, SC; paternal grandmother, Almastine P. Butler of Saluda, SC; Maternal grandmother, Helen H. Williams of Greenwood, SC; paternal grandfather, Steven (Felicia) Weaver of Aiken, SC; godmother, Eloise Williams of  Saluda, SC; god-siblings, Victoria Boyd of Lexington, SC, Michael Boyd and Thomas Boyd both of Saluda, SC; one niece; God-nieces and nephews; aunts, uncles; and a host of other relatives and sorrowing friends.

The family is located at 104 Wheatfield Dr. Greenwood, SC 29649.
