James Daniel Adams

James Daniel Adams, 68, of 1384 Long Cane Road, Edgefield, South Carolina, passed away on Friday, May 26^th, 2017.  He was the son of the late James and Dorothy Weaver Adams of Edgefield, SC.  He was married for 44 years to the late Elnora Daniel Adams of Edgefield, SC. 

He received his education in the public schools of Edgeield County, South Carolina.

James Daniel Adams provided a legacy of excellence in his work ethic and life.  He worked at Greenwood Mills, Avondale Mills, and Milliken & Company for all of his life.  He was a faithful deacon and member of Willow Springs Baptist Church in Edgefield, SC.  He was a talented gardener, mechanic, and builder.  He had many skills and talents, in addition to being an excellent provider for his family. 

His family will miss him dearly.  He is survived by his daughter, Antonia Danielle; his son, James Antonio; his daughter, Lashawna (Heath); and his grandchildren, Ava, Noble, Wyatt, and James.  He is survived by five sisters, Dianne Haggan (Irvin), Barbara Adams, Renee' Covington, Emma Freeman (Rudolph), and Francien Saxon.  He is survived by his mother-in law, Annie Daniel; brother-in law, Harvey Daniel; sisters-in law, Linda Eaddy, Alice Padgett (Ulysses), and Sandra Watson (William).  There are many nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members, and friends who will also miss him dearly.  The family thanks everyone for their presence and words of comfort during their time of bereavement

The funeral service will be conducted at Willow Springs Baptist Church on Friday, June 2^nd, 2017, at 1:00 PM.   Viewing is before the funeral service, from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM.  The interment will be at the Willow Springs Baptist Church cemetery, immediately after the funeral service.
