James Rauch, Jr.

Saluda, SC:  James Rauch, Jr., of 108 Keisha Street, passed away on Wednesday, January 5, 2022, in Self Regional Medical Center.

He was born in Saluda, SC, August 20, 1958, son of the late Charlie and Leila Mae Brooks Rauch. He was of Methodist Faith.  He received his education in the public schools of Saluda County, South Carolina.  He was a heavy equipment operator and he worked many  years for Jack Coleman Construction.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his son, Andre Rauch.

James will be dearly missed by his family, friends and all who knew and loved him.

He leaves to cherish his memory; his wife, Ernestine W. Rauch of Saluda, SC; sons, James R. (Qunekia) Rauch, McCormick, SC and Cornelius Rauch of Saluda, SC; daughters, LaWanda (Daniel) Rouse of Aiken, SC and Christina Rauch of Saluda, SC; five grandchildren, Shanekia Rauch and Shaniyah Rauch both McCormick, SC, Dynasty Jeffcoat, Nevaeh Gilliam and Camerson Gilliam all of Saluda, SC; brother, Anthony (Jeanette) Rauch of Saluda, SC; sisters, Rose (John) Pickens and Mamie (Elias) Green both of Batesburg, SC, Patricia Rauch of Saluda, SC and Brenda Smith of Johnston, SC; two sisters-in-law, four brothers-in-law; host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, other relatives and sorrowing friends.

A Graveside Service will be 12 Noon Monday, January 10, 2022 at Mt. Moses Church Cemetery.

Viewing will be held Sunday 2-6 at the funeral home.

The family is at the home of the daughter, Christina Rauch, 132 Twisted Hill Court, Saluda, SC.
