James Cleveland (Bobo) Wells

Ninety Six, SC:  James Cleveland (B0B0) Wells passed away Tuesday, October 1, 2024 in Self Regional Medical Center.

He was born May 21, 1965 in Saluda, SC, son of the late Otis Cleveland Wells and the late Betty Ruth Butler Wells. He was a 1984 graduate of Saluda High School. At an early age, he joined Crossroad AME Church where he served faithful during it's existence. He was a self employed carpenter.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by sisters, Angley Wells and Gloria W. Hendley.

He leaves to cherish and honor his memory; son, Garland Wells of Johnston, SC; daughters, Chasity Jay of Batesburg, SC and Emily Wells of Edgefield, SC; three grands, Cameron Jay, Mackenzie Wells and Charlotte McCoy; Brother, Otis C. (Tonya) Well of Saluda, SC; sisters, Sheila (Kenneth) Padgett of Johnston, SC and Christel Dandy of Charlotte, NC; two aunts, Janie Bell Wells of Aiken, SC and Nellie Christie of Saluda, SC; two uncles, Johnny Miles of Ninety-six, SC and George D. Wells of Camden, SC; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and sorrowing friends.
