Columbia, SC:  Jeffery Butler, 49, formerly of Edgefield, passed away on Tuesday night, March 31, 2020 in Prisma Health Richland, Columbia, SC.

He was born Edgefield County, SC, October 10, 1970 son of the late Willie David Butler, Sr. and the late Martha Higgins Butler. He was a member of the Pleasant Lane Baptist Church and the Men's of Aide Society.

He is survived by; sisters, Juanita Drumming, Lavern Butler and Debra Butler all of Edgefield, SC, Helen (John) Jefferson and Maurice Butler both of Aiken, SC; and Wanda (Dale) Glanton of Johnston, SC; brothers, Bernard Butler, Willie (Linda) Butler and Carl Butler all of Edgefield, SC and Glenn (Jeraldene) Butler of Spotsylvania, VA;  sister-in-law, Rosa Lee Carroll of McCormick, SC; one aunt, Christine Franklin of Maryland; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and sorrowing friends.

A Graveside Service will be 1 p.m. Saturday, April 4, 2020 at Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery conducted by Reverend Keith Gordon - Words of Comfort, Reverend Melvin Searles, presiding and Reverend Eric Butler assisting.

Viewing will be 1-6 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

The family is at their respective homes.
