Jermaine Clark, 38, the husband of Courtney Werts Clark made his transition from this life into the arms of Jesus in Paradise, Saturday, May 25, 2024 surrounded by his loving family.
He was born September 9,1985 in Greenwood, SC, son of Arietta Coleman Anderson and Freddie Clark. He received his education in the public schools of Saluda County, South Carolina where he graduated from Saluda High School in 2004. At an early age, he joined Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.
Jermaine was an employee of Cromley's, Inc. for all of his working life where he performed many different jobs. He loved to work and he worked until his health declined. He was a "Jack-of-all-trades". He was called the Grill Master. He enjoyed Grilling, fishing and riding the 4-wheeler. He was an avid Gamecock Football and Basketball Fan and Philadelphia Football Fan.
Jermaine was a man with a quiet spirit, kind, humbly and wore a great gentle smile. He was a family man, he loved his family. Courtney his wife and daughter, Cherish was the love of his life. He truly will be missed by his family and all who knew and loved him.
He leaves to honor and cherish is memory; his devoted wife, Courtney Werts Clark and daughter, Cherish Clark of the home; his mother and stepfather, Arietta Coleman Anderson (James) of Lauren, SC; his father and stepmother, Freddie (Deborah) Clark of Johnston, SC; sisters, Ashlea Mathis Harris (Ty"Quan) and Alivia Mathis both of Edgefield, SC; stepbrother, Larry (Tiffany) McDaniels, New Ellenton, SC, stepsister, LaShonda Phillips of Johnston, SC; grandfather and step-grandmother, Willie and Lois Clark, Jr. of Saluda, SC; He also leaves to cherish his memory; supportive mother-in-law, Shirley S. Werts of Saluda, SC; grandmother-in-law, Jackie Springs of Saluda, SC; brother-in-law, Bernard (Chakita) Werts of Saluda, SC, sister-in-law, Tiffany W. Carter (Rodney) of Greenville, SC, nieces, nephews, and a host aunts, uncles and other close relatives and sorrowing friends who will miss him dearly.
The family is a the home of his mother-in-law, Shirley S. Werts, 195 Pleasant Hill Road, Saluda, SC.
