Jimmy Lee Coleman

Edgefield, SC:  Jimmy Lee Coleman, 72, of A16  W A Reel Drive, passed away on January 27, 2025 at his residence.

He was born in Edgefield County, SC, May 3, 1952, son of the late Mattie Mae Coleman. He was a graduate of W E Parker High School Class of 1970, a veteran of U S  Air Force and a member Willow Spring Baptist Church.

In addition to his mother, he was also preceded in death by his sister, Jessie Mae Coleman Davis.

He leaves to cherish his memory, brother, Bobby (Pam) Coleman of Baltimore, MD; sister, Joan (Theodore) Young of Edgefield, SC;  special niece,  April Young of Trenton, SC; caregiver, Jeanette Newman of Edgefield, SC; nieces, nephews, other relatives and sorrowing friends.

Celebration of Life, Saturday, 2/8/25 at 11 am, Butler and Sons Funeral Home. Burial will be held at Ft. Jackson National Cemetery, Columbia, SC, 11:00 am  Wednesday, February 12, 2025.
