He was born in Edgefield, SC, September 14, 1949, son of the Jonas and Nannie Lee Pough Samuels. He was received his education in the public schools of Philadelphia, Pa. During his working life he worked in Janitorial Services. He was a member of Manna House of Saluda.
He leaves to cherish his memory; his wife, Cheryl W. Samuels of the home. two sons, Rolland Jackson (Tashira Brooks) and Desmon Jackson both of Philadelphia, PA; adopted son, Anthony Carson of the home; adopted daughter, Siara Samuels of the home; step-daughter, Felicia (Wesley) Wallace, Trenton, SC; brother Christopher Samuels of Seattle, WA; sister, Pearline (George) Johnson, Johnston, SC; four grandchildren; mother-in-law, Alma Williams Bethel, Edgefield, SC; four brothers-in-law, seven sisters-in-law; special cousins, Warrena Mathis, Edith Mulligan, Shirley Williams and Ruth Williams; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends who will miss him dearly.
The family is at the home.
