Julia May Ouzts

Saluda, SC:  Julia May Ouzts. of 348 East Columbia Highway, the wife of Lonnie F. Ouzts, Sr., departed this life Friday morning, February 19, 2021 in Self Regional Healthcare.

She was born June 29, 1943 in Batesburg, SC, daughter of the late Nelson Harris and the late Nannie Harmon Dozier.  She was a 1962 graduate of Twin City High School. Julia accepted Christ in her life and joined Shady Grove Baptist Church where she was a faithful member serving as Mother-of-the-Church and a member of the Senior choir. She was a retired textile worker.

She was married to Lonnie F. Ouzts, Sr. and to this union a son was born.

She is the last survivor of her immediate family.  She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Lonnie F. Ouzts of the home; son and wife, Lonnie F.(Cathy) Ouzts, Jr. of Saluda, SC; granddaughter, Ebonisia Wells of Greenville, SC;  three step-grandchildren, six step-great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and sorrowing friends.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death siblings, Albert Harris, Phillip Harris, Boy Harris and Maybell Stroman.

Please pray for this family as their loved has transitioned from this life into eternal rest.
