Saluda, SC:   Kelvin De'Lonte Matthews, 47, departed this life on Friday, September 30, 2022, in Self Regional Medical Center.

He was born in Greenwood, SC, on October 12, 1974, son of Robert Rabb and  the late Winnie Matthews Abney. Kelvin was raised by his paternal grandparents the late Albert Sr. and Leila Mae Smith Rabb.  He was of Baptist Faith.  Kelvin was employed by Amick Farms and his favorite football team was the Dallas Cowboys.

In addition to his mother, he was also preceded in death his brother, Rodney Reshard Rabb.

He is survived by; his father, Reverend Robert (Gloria) Rabb of Lynchburg, SC; special friend, Tujuana Brown of Sumter, SC; daughter, Sacoya Stevens of Columbia, SC; sons, Delonte (Wartika) Edwards of Texas and Jaquan Brown of Sumter, SC; sisters, Shawtanga Abney of Saluda, SC, Laronda Mason of West Columbia, SC and Riyoshi R. (Greg) Rabb Leslie of Hyannis, MA; brothers, Detorris (Keeya) Abney and De'Jarvis Abney both of Saluda, SC and Eric Hendley of Graniteville SC; ten grandchildren; special aunt, Lynette Tolen of Lexington, SC; fourteen aunts, nine uncles; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many sorrowing friends.

A Graveside Service Celebrating his Life will be 2 p.m. Saturday 10/8/22 at Phillipi Baptist Church Cemetery conducted by Reverend Annette Mathis.  Reverend Charles Davenport is the pastor. The body will be placed at the cemetery at 1 p.m.

Family Viewing will be 1-2 pm. Friday, 10/7/22 and public viewing will be 2-6 p.m.
