Mr. Kevin P. Spearman

Saluda, SC: Mr. Kevin Spearman, 56, the husband of Annie Etheredge Spearman, passed away on Thursday, April 13, 2017, in Lexington Medical Center.

He was born in Newberry, SC, son of Dorothy Spearman Wheeler and the late L.C. Brown, Jr. and was raised by late Jimmy Praylow.  He received his education in the public schools of Newberry County, South Carolina.  At an early age, he joined the Lever Chapel AME Church and later in life he attended the Bethlehem Baptist Church, Saluda, SC.

He is survived by; his wife, Annie E. Spearman of Saluda, SC; his mother, Dorothy Wheeler of Prosperity, SC; daughter, Nicole Spearman of Moody Air Force Base, Valdosta, GA; stepdaughters, LaQuinta Bates, Prosperity, SC, Melanie Burno, and Marasia Graham both of Saluda, SC; god-daughters, Stacie Johnson and Kadence Thomas both of Batesburg, SC; stepson, Karrious Clarke, Saluda. SC; five grandchildren; brothers, Joseph (Andrea) Praylow, Jimmie (Sheila) Praylow and Jessie Wilson all of Newberry, SC, Rapheal Brown, L.C. Brown, Jr., Keith Brown and Darrick Brown all of New York City, NY; sisters, Essie Mae Jones, Faith (Carl) Edwards, Sonya (Lamont) Tucker all of Newberry, SC, Stephanie Praylow of Prosperity, SC, Claudette Brown, Charlotte, NC and Diana Praylow (Larry Dozier) of Batesburg, SC; six sisters-in-law, seven brothers-in-law; twelve aunts, four uncles; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and sorrowing friends.

Celebration of Life and burial will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, at Bethlehem Baptist Church conducted by Reverend Calvin Robinson and others.

The body will be placed in the church at 1 p.m.

Viewing will be 1-8 p.m. at the funeral home on Tuesday, 4/18/17.
