L C Lawrence

Saluda, SC:   L.C. Lawrence 0f 3682 Johnston Highway, the husband of Christine B. Lawrence transitioned from this life into eternal rest, early Saturday morning, June 27, 2026.

He was born in Aiken, SC, on February 9, 1949, son of the late Isaac and Della Mae Bunch Lawrence. He received his education in the public schools of Saluda County, South Carolina. He was a member Rock Hill Baptist Church where he served on the Board of Trustees and Rock Hill Male Chorus.  He worked in Maintenance at Monsanto/Solutia until he retired.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by, siblings, Albert, Isaac, Eddie and Shelly Lawrence and Susie Mae Miller.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his devoted wife, Christine Brown Lawrence of the home; four daughters, Christine Michele (Craig) Bush of Saluda, April, Alisa T. Lawrence of Wilmington, DE, Lane Channel (Devon) Smith of Snellville, GA and Amy Minick of Saluda, SC; seven grandchildren; two brothers, John H. Lawrence of Kinston, NC and Charlie Lawrence of Augusta, GA; a niece, Jackie Key and a nephew, Dexter Wells raised in the home with him like sister and brother; sisters-in-law, Elizabeth Link and Bishop Gene B. Stewart; special niece, Jackie Lawrence; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and sorrowing friends.

The family is at the home.
