Mr. Lawrence Edward Etheredge, Sr.

Saluda, SC: Mr. Lawrence Edward Etheredge, Sr., 69, departed this life on Saturday, July 1, 2017, in Self Regional Medical Center, Greenwood, SC.

He was born in Saluda County, SC, son of the late Eugene Etheredge and the late Ella Mae Rauch Etheredge Barnes. He was a member of the Bethlehem Baptist Church.

In addition of his parents, he was also preceded in death by brother, Robert Etheredge and James Etheredge.

He is survived by; son, Lawrence E. Etheredge, Jr. of Kershaw, SC; daughters, Erika Etheredge of Saluda, SC and Jakayla Etheredge of Georgia; three brothers, Roy (Marilyn) Barnes and Henry Melvin (Jean) Barnes both of Saluda, SC and Benjamin (Lucille) Barnes of Maryland; sisters, Betty A. Etheredge of Goldsboro, NC, Shirley Culbreath of Lexington, SC and Mamie (Thomas) Pace of Saluda, SC; and a host of nieces, nephews, other  relatives and sorrowing friends.

Funeral Service will be 2 p.m. Friday, July 7, 2017 at Bethlehem Baptist Church conducted by Reverend Calvin Robinson with Reverends Annette Mathis, Frank Nicholson and Minister Constance E. Long. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will be receiving friends home of his sister, Mamie (Thomas) Pace at 1521 Old Charleston Road, Saluda, SC, Wednesday 2-7 p.m and on Thursday 4-7 p.m.
