Mr. Leory Marshall

Saluda, SC: Mr. Leroy Marshall, 65, the husband of Elsie Gantt, passed away on Saturday, 4/29/17 at his home, 141 LaSalle Street.

He was born in Saluda, SC, son of the late Roy Gantt and the Willie Mae Marshall. He received his education in the public schools of Saluda County, SC. Leroy worked as car detailer for Saluda Motor Sales.  He was a member the Chinquapin Baptist Church.

He leaves to honor and cherish his memory; his wife, Elsie Gantt of the home; two sons,  Bobby R. Gantt of Saluda, SC and Mike Gantt of Columbia, SC;  five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; brothers, James W. (Michele) Marshall of Batesburg, SC, Bobby (Faye) Bing, Howard Marshall, Carl Bing, and Willie Howard (Patricia) Marshall all of Florida; sisters, Marie Bing, Deborah J. Marshall and Shirly A. Rosales all of Florida; one aunt, Daisy Morris of Saluda, SC; six sisters-in-law, one brothers-in-law; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and sorrowing friends who will miss him dearly.

A Memorial Service honoring his life will be 2 p.m., Thursday, May 4, 2017 at the funeral home.
