Lew Ward Yee
Asheville, NC: Lew Ward Yee, 88, transitioned from the life into eternal rest, on Sunday, January 24, 2021 in Brookdale Walden Ridge after declining health.
He was born in Youngstown, Ohio, son of the late Wally and Hong Fhee Yee. He was of Methodist faith and a high school graduate.
He was a veteran of the US Air Force where he served on the Boxing Team. During his working life he was a clerk for different Race Tracks and a professional Boxer.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Alice Sue Ricer, son, James Jim Yee, brothers, Sam, Foo, Boo and Jem Yee and sisters, Lillie Lee, Dee Yee and Jennie Lee.
Left to cherish his memory; daughter, Fay Alice Yee, Black Mountain, NC; son, Raymond Yee of California; sister, Minnie (Charlie) Lou of San Anna, CA; uncle, Joe Yee, Newark, Ohio; four grandchildren, Camellia Clutton, Jasmine Tower, Brad Yeomon Yee and Gretez Walker; two great grand, Iris and Poppy; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
No Services are to be held.
