Mamie Loraine Barnes Pace

Saluda, SC: Mamie Loraine Barnes Pace of 1521 Old Charleston Road, the wife of Thomas Pace departed this life on Sunday, January 2, 2022 in Self Regional HealthCare.

She was born in Saluda, SC, June 21, 1958, daughter of the late Lewis Milton and Ella Mae Rauch Barnes. She was a member of Poplar Branch Baptist Church where she was an Usher. She was an employee of Pioneer Foods. Mamie was a 1976 graduate of Saluda High School.

Mamie will be dearly missed by her family, friends and all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by siblings, Robert Etheredge, James Etheredge, Lawrence Etheredge and Shirley Barnes Culbreath.

She leaves to cherish and honor her precious memories: her husband, Thomas Pace of the home; a niece reared as a daughter, Ericka Etheredge of the home; brothers, Roy (Marilyn) Barnes and Melvin (Velma Jean) Barnes both of Saluda, SC, and Benjamin (Lucille) Barnes of Lanham, MD; sister, Betty Ann Etheredge of Goldsboro, NC; three sisters-in-law, two brothers-in-law; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and sorrowing friends.

A Graveside Service to honor her Life will be 1 p.m. Saturday, January 8, 2022 at Poplar Branch Baptist Church Cemetery conducted by the pastor, Reverend Frank Nicholson with others assisting.

Viewing will be 1-6 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

The family is at the home. Please be mindful and wear a mask or face covering and practice social distancing.
