Margaret Earlean Werts Graham

Saluda, SC:  Margaret Earlean Werts Graham of 1098 Pencreek Road, daughter of the late John Henry and Cornelia Daniel Werts was born in Edgefield County on September 1, 1932. She departed this life Tuesday, January 17, 2023 peacefully at her home.

She attended Bettis Acedemy and Rosenwald High School. She was a member of Willow Spring Baptist Church and Woman Home Aide Society #41. During her working life she worked at Knight's Industries.

She was married to the late Gary "Jeff" Graham, Sr. and this union was blessed with six children. She is preceded in death by six sisters and two brothers.

Earlean was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and cousin.  She will be missed dearly.

She is survived by; four daughters, Veleria (Wade) Hickson, Deborah (Tommie) Wideman, and Juanita Hall all of Saluda, SC and Tracy (Bobby) Pixley of Ward, SC; two sons, Gary (Phyllis) Graham of Saluda, SC, and Robert Graham of Irmo, SC; sixteen grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren; one brother, Mack (Nan)  Werts of Long Island, NY; one sister, Doris Bellamy of Saluda, SC; one brother-in-law MC (Susie) Graham of Saluda, SC sisters-in-law, Sarah B. Graham and Gladys Graham Holloway both of Saluda, SC, Laura Werts of Long Island, NY; and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. Special recognition of family members for the exceptional care given by Jasmine Jones, Nyshena Hickson and Juanita Hall.

A Celebration of her Life will be 2 p.m. Sunday, January 22, 2023 at Willow Spring Baptist Church with burial in the Lockhart Baptist Church Cemetery. The body will be placed in the church at 1 p.m.

The family is at the home.
