Marvin Price

North Augusta, SC:  Marvin Price, 48, of 1007 McKenzie St, the husband of Alice Anita Adams Price, passed away on October 23, 2019 in Augusta Health, Augusta, GA after a brief illness.

He was born in Johnston, SC, February 20, 1971, the only son of Beaufort Price and the late Mary Miles Price.  He received his education in the public schools of Edgefield, South Carolina where he graduated from Strom Thurmond in 1989. He was self employed as a licensed Heating and Air condition Contractor.

At an early age, he joined the Bethlehem Baptist Church of Edgefield, SC. He was married to Alice Anita Adams Price and the father of four children.

Marvin have touched many lives and he will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved. He loved music and sports (boxing, UFC and football).

Those who will miss him the most; father, Beaufort Price of Johnston, SC;  his wife of the home; three sons, Donovan S. Price of Charlotte, NC, Christian and Myles Price of the home; daughter, Tiara S. Price  of the home; sisters, Jeanette (Anthony) Brunson of McDonovgh, GA, Reverend Inez Kemp and Elaine Price both of Johnston, SC; mother-in-law, Beverly Adams of Edgefield, SC; father-in-law and step-mother-in-law, Warren (Almastine) Butler of Saluda, SC; three brothers-in-law, Warren Butler, Jr., Richard Butler, DJ Bosket; one sister-in-law, Shannon (Lafayette) Roberts;  a number of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews; and a host of cousins, extended family and other relatives and sorrowing friends.

Celebration of his life will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, October 30, 2019 at Bethlehem Baptist Church, Edgefield, SC, with Reverend Edward Lloyd, Officiating and Reverend Franklin, Presiding. Burial will follow in Walk of Faith Church Cemetery. The body will be placed in the church at Noon.

Public viewing be 1-8 p.m. Tuesday, October 29, 2019 at the funeral home.

The family is receiving  friends at the home of his father, Mr. Beaufort Price, 412 Park Avenue, Johnston , SC.
