Leesville, SC:  Mary Elsie Mosley Pickens, 83, 115 Yorkshire Court, widow of Willie James Pickens transitioned from this life to eternal rest, on Friday, May 7, 2021 at her home.

She was born in Saluda County, SC, on March 24, 1938, to the late Isaac and Rose Lee Mosley.  Mary received here education the public schools of Saluda County, South Carolina. She was a member of Poplar Branch Baptist Church. She worked at Rikard's Nursing Home for many years in the Dietary Department. She and Willie James Pickens was married in New York on April 8, 1956, he preceded her in death. To this union three daughters were born.

Mary loved to cook and bake. She also loved to watching TV especially stories and Family- Feud.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by her siblings, Clinton Mosley, James Henry Mosley, Rosie Norman, Sadie Jackson and Mattie Gantt.

She leaves to cherish and honor her memory; daughters, Marnie Johnson of the home, Darshi Pickens and Tianita Pickens (1 SG Vessel Johnon, Baton Rouge, LA) both of Leesville, SC; sister Barbara Mosley of Ward, SC; eight grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Frances (Sammie) Williamson and Ruby Holloway; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The family is at the home.
