Mr. Maurice (SupaMo) Lott
Peterburg, VA: Maurice (SupaMo) Lott, 43, of Petersburg, VA was born in Washington, DC on August 6th, 1974. Maurice closed his eyes to a peaceful sleep at his resident 123 Pine Street, Petersburg, VA on Sunday, April 1, 2018.  

He was married to Tasha Lott,  He was a devoted father of 2 children Alexya Brown and Kayla Lott.

Maurice had a love of music, he mastered the keyboards and saxophone, his passion was playing with a variety of bands around the DC area throughout his adult life.  And was also a big sports fan.

He was affectionately called by the name of (SuperMo) by family and friends. He will be dearly missed by his family, friends and all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather Henry Lott, and Uncle Nathan Lott. These two men played an instrumental part in the rearing of Maurice.  He loved them both dearly.

He leaves to cherish his memory:his wife, Tasha Lott of Clinton, Maryland, two beautiful daughters Kayla Lott and Alexya Brown.  His mother Rosa M. Benjamin of Burlington, NC, father Gregory Milam of Atlanta GA.  A caring grandmother Rosa Bennett Lott of Saluda, SC.  Two siblings Jameel T. Dozier of Saluda SC and Janay A. Hawkins of Burlington, NC. A host of nieces and nephews, and other friends.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April the 7th @ 2:00 pm at Butler Funeral Home conducted by Bishop Jean Lawrence Stewart. 

Repast following service at 228 Abney Nursery Rd.
