Troy, SC:  Meredith Denise Gilchrist,  of 9805 Highway 25 South, peacefully transitioned into eternal rest on Friday night, February 19, 2021.

She was born January 13, 1972, in Lincolnton, GA, daughter of Luephila Lanier Gilchrist and the late Roosevelt Gilchrist.. She was a 1990 graduate of  Strom Thurmond High School.  She worked at Cardinal Health as a Fork Lift operator for twenty years.

Denise as she was affectionately called leaves to cherish and honor her memory; her mother, Luephila Lanier Gilchrist of the home; son, Jordan Middleton of Troy, SC daughter, Zayla Middleton of Troy, SC; sisters, (her twin) Miriam Denane (Rickey) Hill of Parksville, SC, Felicia LaShaun Gilchrist of Troy, SC and Melanie Crist of McCormick, SC; one grand, Emory Adams; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and sorrowing friends. 

Final Services will be Friday @1 p.m. for immediate family only at Butler and Sons Funeral Home.
