Natasha “Tasha” Evon Bell, 53, of Florence, South Carolina, formerly of McCormick, South Carolina, passed away on Sunday, May 31, 2026, at her residence.
Tasha was born on January 2, 1973, in Greenwood, South Carolina, to Robert Atlee and Sylvia Lanier Bell. She was a 1991 graduate of McCormick High School and later attended Hampton University. She continued her education at Florence-Darlington Technical College, where she earned her credentials as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
Nursing was more than a profession for Tasha—it was her true calling. She possessed a servant’s heart and consistently went above and beyond for her patients, providing compassionate care and unwavering support. As an employee of Palmetto Center in Florence, South Carolina, she built meaningful relationships and made a lasting impact on the lives of those she served.
Tasha was adored by all who knew her and will always be remembered for her loving heart, kindness, selflessness, contagious laughter, and radiant smile. She cherished her family and friends and found great joy in the time she spent with them. Her warmth, generosity, and caring spirit touched many lives and will never be forgotten.
Tasha leaves to cherish her memory her loving parents, Robert Atlee and Sylvia Lanier Bell; two sisters, Toya Alicia Bell Davis of McCormick, South Carolina, and Tycia Dawn Bell of McCormick, South Carolina; one niece, Zoee Alyvia Davis; two nephews, Tyson Atlee Bell and Tyler Lanier Bell; a beloved goddaughter, Ky’Asha Cunningham; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 6, 2026, at Shiloh AME Church, 405 Highway 10, McCormick, South Carolina, with Rev. Paul Nelson Wharton officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the Bell Family Home, 946 Bell Field Road, McCormick, South Carolina.
Though her earthly journey has ended, the love she shared and the example she set will continue to live on in the hearts of those who loved her..
