Patricia Glover Sanders

Greenwood, SC: Patricia Glover-Sanders Widow of Roy Sanders. Transitioned from this life into eternal rest, Sunday, March 23, 2025, at the home of her daughter Patrice Sanders- (Myron) Parks of 514 Bolt Ave. Greenwood, SC. 

She was born October 11, 1956 in Saluda County. Daughter of the late Willie Mack and Gladys Portee-Glover. She received her education in Saluda County public schools, where she graduated from Saluda High School. She did further studies at Piedmont Technical College. During her working life she worked as a Caregiver.

At an early age she joined Lockhart Baptist church and later in life became a member of Bethlehem Church of God Holiness. She was married to Roy Sanders who preceded her in death. To this union eight children were born.

In addition to her parents and husband she was also preceded in death by siblings, Mickie Glover, Jeraldine Glover- Mobley,  Mae (Mary Alice) Glover, and granddaughter Myrniah Parks.

She leaves to cherish and honor her memory sons: Mickey, Eric, Sharod, Justus, Titus, and Jarvis Sanders all of Greenwood, SC. Daughters, Patrice (Myron) Parks of Greenwood, SC, Myrras Sanders of Simpsonville, SC, sixteen grandchildren, brother, Sylvester Glover of Saluda, SC, sister, Dorothy (Donnie) Wallace of Columbia, SC. In-laws, nieces, nephews, and friends.

A Balloon Release will be held in her memory on Saturday, March 29, 2025 at 3 p.m. at the residence of her daughter Patrice and Myron Parks 514 Bolt Avenue, Greenwood, SC.
