Saluda, SC:  Paul Smith, Jr. 57, of 155 May Branch Road, passed away Monday, July 5, 2022 from injuries received in an accident.

Born in Greenwood, SC, August 7, 1964,  son of the late Paul, Sr. and Georgia Lee Holloway Smith. He was a retired heavy equipment operator in the Logging Industry and he received his education in the public schools of Saluda County, SC.

He is survived by; two sons, Draper L. Nick of Saluda, SC and Zachary Phillips of 96, SC; two stepsons,  Terrance Nick of Columbia, SC and Dwayne Nick of Saluda, SC;  fourteen grandchildren and one great grand; one brother, James E. Holloway of Saluda, SC; Helen Watkins and Georgia Faye (Clyde) Hall both of Saluda, SC; three aunts, Eva Mae Murphy, Yvonne Jacobs and Addie Walker; Davisville Community and a host of   nieces, nephews, other relatives and sorrowing friends.

A Celebration of His Life will be held 2:30 p.m. Sunday, July 10, 2022 at Antioch Baptist Church conducted by Reverend Carmilla Simpkins - Presiding and Reverend Annette Mathis, Eugolist.  The body will be placed in the church at 1:30 p.m.

Viewing will be Saturday 3-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
